Dry, crisp style with great acidity. Sourced from south-western sections of Zeltinger Himelreich, mid-slope and slate grown. Fermented in neutral fuder. Melon, hints of honey and lemon with the mineral energy of slate.
100% Pinot Noir. The aromas are complex with layers of fruity, flinty, and perfume-like qualities: strawberry, raspberry, and peach coupled with blossoms. The wine is extremely dry with crisp acidity and a luscious finish.
42% Merlot, 37% Syrah, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Mourvèdre. Aromas are of black cherry, blueberry, plum, cedar, caramel, baking spice, toast and vanilla with some forest floor. Dark fruit flavors of blackberry jam and blueberry compote appear on the palate, joined by cocoa, sweet oak, earth, cedar and chamomile. Fruit forward and approachable, this wine balances the primary fermentation notes with flavors from barrel aging and culminates into a long-lasting, enjoyable wine with a lingering fin
60% Merlot, 40% Corvina. Rosso is crafted in the tradition of “Apassimento” (to dry and shrivel), the same style as Amarone wines of the region. Gran Passione has an intense purple color, tending towards amber with ageing. It is full-bodied with a solid structure due to the elevated alcohol and fine balance between soft tannins and acidity from rich red and black fruits.
