This Week's Flight

Poema Brut Cava, Spain

A true Brut-style Cava, made with indigenous grape varieties. Made utilizing Metodo Tradicional, the same traditional method used to craft Champagne. Versatile with tapas and light appetizers. Fresh, clean, citrus, mineral and Granny Smith apple aromas with toasted bread notes: a quintessential Cava. Pairs well with light tapas, oysters and seafood.

Le Vigne Di Zamo Ribolla, Friuli Venizia Giulia Italy

All the fruit is destemmed and pressed immediately, the most fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at 16-18°C. The wine stays on the lees for eight months before going into bottle.  Deep golden-yellow color, rich, warm and inviting aroma of ripe fruits and honey. Harmonious taste on the palate. It pairs wonderfully with fresh fish or seafood served with light vegetables.

Violet Hill Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara, CA

Supple, velvety, and laden with luscious crimson flavors of berries and cherries that evolve with resinous spice, smoky cedar, and herbaceousness on the palate. The bolder Santa Barbara component lends weight and ripe fruit, while the Santa Maria parcels offer savory and fresh herbal tea high tones.

Routestock Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 Napa Valley, CA

89.5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Merlot, 3.5% Cabernet Franc, 2% Malbec, 1% Petit Verdot.  The 2022 Route 29 Cab is amazingly complex and classic Napa Valley. The wine fills the mouth with richness, fruit, a bright acidity, and just enough tannin to lengthen the wine into a great lingering aftertaste. The palate is round,  full-bodied, expansive, bright, and complex with flavors of black plum, black cherry, blackberry, coffee, chocolate, mushroom, and bay leaf. Will do well with burgers or lamb skew
