The nose is greeted with an alluring mix of red and black fruits, notably cherries and blackberries, complemented by hints of Mediterranean herbs, floral notes, and a subtle earthiness, characteristic of the Maremma terroir. On the palate, this Sangiovese offers a robust yet refined structure, with a perfect balance between its juicy acidity and smooth tannins 

 In Sheep’s Clothing delivers a ripeness of fruit flavors while preserving the acidity that gives the medium to full body wine a slice of freshness. Layers of Cassis, Blueberries, and Black Cherries lend to New World style fruit with more of an Old World structure with a hint of wood smoke. This wine fully embraces an integral part of classic Cabernet Sauvignon by highlighting a complex blend of dried herbs: anise, thyme and bay leaf.
