40% Tempranillo, 40% Merlot, 10% Malbec, 10% Syrah. ruby red color, with dense tears. The wine presents a broad and complex aromatic spectrum that combines memories of ripe red fruits, blueberry, blackberry, balsamic and spicy notes such as eucalyptus, black pepper, and cloves. Undertones of cocoa and toasty flavors are perceived.
The Domaine de la Janasse Côtes du Rhône Villages Terre d'Argile 2021 is a full-bodied red wine with notes of black and red fruit, spices, and earthy, meaty undertones, described as rich, textured, and possessing good acidity for aging. Made from a blend of Southern Rhone grapes including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Carignan, it features a concentration of ripe fruit and is considered a terrific Côtes du Rhône, especially in the 2021 vintage.
91% Cabernet 6% Malbec 3% Petite Sirah. Primarily sourced from Barrelli Creek, wines from blocks with dark fruit were married with the wines that expressed sage, tobacco and garrigue notes to be laid down in 100% American oak. The result is a complex powerhouse with jammy blackberry, black tea, green tea, nutmeg, toasted coconut, caramel, and molasses.
This is just a spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon from two vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley. This medium bodied wine is both lithe and expressive, with embracing tannins wrapping gently around a focused core of dried herb-accented black cherry and licorice flavors, dancing with finesse on the finish. Maceration 14 -27 days tank and bin fermentations. Aged on fine lees for 12 months. ~41% new French oak.
